Biography

Samima Salimova (Samima Lachin) was born in Lachin. She studied at the Theater Directing Faculty of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art (1990-1995), and at the doctoral level of the Radio, Television and Cinema Department of Istanbul University (2017-2021). She worked as a journalist for many years. Since 2014, she has been the founder and director of the “Turan” theater studio. She currently lives in Istanbul.
